Situation at the front: 98 clashes have occurred, fighting continues in eight directions

Russian troops continue to shell the northern regions of Ukraine. The areas of Bratenitsa, Druzhba, Bobylivka, Dmytrivka, Progress, Studenok, Ponomarenky and Khrinivka were hit by enemy artillery. The invaders conducted air strikes on Vodolaha, Bilopillia, Mykytivka and Bondarivshchyna, launching 16 guided bombs.

The Russian army continues to bomb its own territories as well: it has already dropped 16 aerial bombs on the Kursk region today.

Two combat engagements have taken place in the Kharkiv sector since the beginning of the day. Ukrainian defenders repelled an enemy attack near Vovchansk. Another assault by Russian troops is being repelled in the same area.

In the Kupyansk sector, Ukrainian defence forces repelled nine enemy attacks near Sinkivka, Kolisnykivka and Lozova. Five more attacks are ongoing near Myasozharivka, Kolisnykivka, Stepova Novoselivka and Lozova.

In the Lyman sector, Russian troops continue to attack near Makiivka. Since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian defenders have repelled 12 assaults in this area of the frontline near Tverdokhlibove, Cherneshchyna, Druzhelyubivka, Nevske, Torske and in Serebryansky forest.

In the Siversk sector, the Russian army attempted to storm the positions of the Defence Forces near Verkhnekamianske and Vyymka. Three of the invaders’ attempts failed, and two firefights are still ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian troops, supported by aviation, are trying to advance on Ukrainian positions near Klishchiyivka, Andriivka and Chasovyi Yar. Ukrainian defenders have already repelled four attacks there.

In the Toretsk sector, the enemy attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defence Forces nine times with the support of attack aircraft. Fighting continues near Toretsk and Sukhoi Balka.

The situation remains the most tense in the Pokrovsk sector. Fierce fighting is taking place in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Zelene Pole, Mirolyubivka, Hrodivka, Novohrodivka, Karlivka, Marynivka and Mykhailivka. Since the beginning of the day, Russians have attempted to storm Ukrainian positions 23 times in this sector.

In the Kurakhove sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 11 enemy attacks near Heorhiivka and Kostiantynivka. Six combat engagements continue in the area of Krasnohorivka.

In the Vremivsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled two assaults by Russian troops towards Kostyantynivka. The Russians continue to try to break through the defences in the direction of Vuhledar and Vodiane, with six attacks currently underway.

In the Orikhivsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled three unsuccessful attacks near Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the Russian army did not conduct any active operations during the day.

"The Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is taking all necessary measures to deter the enemy’s offensive," the General Staff stressed.
