Ukraine and IMF reach agreement on extending EFF lending program, Shmyhal says

Ukraine and the IMF have reached an agreement to extend the EFF lending program in the amount of $15.6 billion. If this decision is approved by the Fund’s Executive Board, Ukraine will be able to receive $1.1 billion.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this.

"Financial support from partners helps our government cover all non-military budget expenses. This makes it possible to direct our internal resources to strengthening the country’s defense capability," Shmyhal noted.
