In Zhytomyr, a boat with people capsized on the river: there are victims

An incident occurred in Zhytomyr – a boat with people capsized, resulting in the death of two women.

This is reported by the Telegram of the State Emergency Service.

According to reports, the event took place on the Teteriv River. Preliminary data indicates that one woman was rescued by local residents who were on the shore. She was hospitalized in a medical facility.

The body of one of the deceased was pulled out by divers from the Zhytomyr Regional Communal Specialized Emergency Rescue Service at a distance of about 250 meters from the shore. The search continues.

It is also reported that four other people did not require medical assistance.
