At the beginning of the heating season, Russia is preparing new massive strikes on the energy sector, – NSDC

The Russian Federation (RF) may soon resume massive attacks on Ukraine’s energy sector. It is likely that this will happen with the onset of the heating season.

This was reported by the Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) Oleksandr Lytvynenko during the opening of the exhibition "Energy in Industry-2024", as quoted by Interfax-Ukraine.

"With the onset of the heating season, one can expect massive Russian attacks on the energy sector," he stated.

Lytvynenko added that during the full-scale war with the enemy, Ukraine’s energy sector has demonstrated the ability to implement innovative solutions, and Russian occupiers have not achieved their goal of destroying Ukraine’s economy.
