In Kyiv, air defence was operational overnight: defence forces neutralized all Russian drones

“The Russian armed forces once again launched an air attack on Kyiv. Last night, the occupiers attempted to strike the capital of Ukraine with unmanned aerial vehicles. The enemy’s tactics remain unchanged - UAVs approach the city from various directions. The air raid alert in the capital lasted over three and a half hours. The defence forces managed to neutralize all Russian drones that could have threatened the city,” noted the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhiy Popko.

According to him, this time there were casualties.

“As a result of the night attack by Russian army’s attack UAVs on Kyiv, the facade of a building in the Dniprovskyi district was damaged, and a young woman sustained a serious leg injury. In the Darnytskyi district, parked cars were damaged by debris. No casualties,” informed the head of the city military administration.

In connection with this, Popko urged all Kyiv residents to heed the air raid signals and always use shelters in case of danger.
