Strike on Zaporizhzhya: police clarified the consequences of the Russian attack
On Saturday evening, October 19, Russian occupiers struck Zaporizhzhya with aerial bombs. As a result of the attack, 10 local residents were injured, and damage was recorded in the city.
This was reported on the Telegram of the National Police of Ukraine.
"This evening, Russian troops carried out three aerial strikes (tentatively, with FABs) on the regional center’s territory. Among the injured are two children aged 9 and 13," the message states.
The head of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, clarified that as of 22:20, the number of injured had increased to 10 people.
According to information from the National Police, the target of the enemy was three districts of the regional center. In particular, Russian munitions struck near a private residential property and in open areas.



As a result of the airstrikes, a residential building was partially destroyed by the blast wave and shrapnel, and nearby shops, a car wash, a warehouse of a shopping center, and vehicles were damaged.
"Police officers, DSNS officers, and city profile services are working at the sites of the enemy strikes," added the National Police.
