The situation at the front is difficult and tends to escalate, - Syrskyi

This is reported with reference to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, on Facebook.

Syrskyi noted that he had another phone conversation with the Commander of the US Forces in Europe, General Christopher Cavoli.

"At the beginning of the conversation, I informed my American colleague about the situation on the frontline. The situation remains difficult and tends to escalate. The enemy, using its numerical advantage, continues offensive actions and focuses its main efforts on the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions," he explained.

At the same time, Syrskyi stated that Ukraine has numerous data on the preparation of North Korean military personnel to participate in combat operations on the side of Russian troops.

During the conversation, according to the Commander-in-Chief, the American side confirmed its unwavering commitment to fulfilling its obligations to supply the Defence Forces of Ukraine with the declared range of weapons and military equipment.
