Budanov revealed how many "Kedr" ballistic missiles Russia might have
As of the end of October, Russia was supposed to produce two experimental samples of the missile from the "Kedr" missile complex.
This was reported by Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine of the Ministry of Defence.
"I emphasize again. The missile is experimental. We know for sure that by October two experimental samples were to be produced, perhaps a little more were made, but believe me, it’s still an experimental sample, not mass production," said Budanov.
He explained that "Oreshnik" is the name of the research work, while the system itself is called "Kedr".
"Let’s say, it’s a medium-range ballistic missile. A nuclear weapon carrier. The fact that they used it in a non-nuclear version is, as they say, their warning that they haven’t completely lost their minds yet," the intelligence officer noted.
