Russian attack on the center of Kharkiv: 41 buildings damaged
The occupying forces of the Russian Federation launched a missile strike on the Kyiv district of Kharkiv on the morning of November 25. As a result of the impact, a fire broke out, dozens of houses were damaged, and 23 people were injured.
This was announced by the city mayor Ihor Terekhov. According to him, the explosion occurred around 08:30 in an area of dense residential development.
Initially, it was known about six injured, but later the number of victims increased to ten, and then to 13.

Nine of them were hospitalized. Other victims received medical assistance at the scene.

"The strikes hit courtyards surrounded by multi-story buildings. Outbuildings and vehicles were on fire. All relevant services and volunteers are working," Terekhov noted.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, added that a fire broke out on one of Kharkiv’s central streets as a result of the strike. Civil infrastructure and vehicles were damaged.

According to updated data from the RMA at 09:30, the number of affected people increased to 15. It was indicated that the strike hit the ground. Rescuers localized the fire caused by the shelling.


In the city, three cars were burning and the facade of a two-story non-residential building was damaged, affecting 41 buildings.

According to preliminary data, the enemy struck Kharkiv with an S-400 missile system. As of 10:30, 19 people were affected.

"Among them, there are 13 women and six men aged from 21 to 71. 16 victims are in moderate condition, others are in mild condition. 13 people were hospitalized," said Synyehubov.

Rescuers inspected the damaged houses, and SES psychologists provided assistance to people. In total, 23 residents were affected by the Russian strike on Kharkiv.

"14 people were hospitalized. Among them, five patients are in the surgery department, five are treated on an outpatient basis, two are directed for neurosurgical treatment. Two more people are under examination," added the RMA.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv District Prosecutor’s Office of Kharkiv, a pre-trial investigation has begun for violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, around 08:30 the enemy hit the city, presumably with an S-400 missile: an impact on the ground in a densely populated residential area was recorded.

"23 people sustained injuries and experienced acute stress reactions. Residential buildings, administrative buildings, office spaces, and vehicles were damaged. Despite the difficult security situation, prosecutors, together with police investigators, are taking all measures to document the crimes committed by the servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces," the department reported.




On the evening of November 25, the first deputy head of the Patrol Police Department posted a video from the scene of the terrorist missile strike on Kharkiv. He noted that their target once again became the densely populated city center.
"Today, terrorists launched a missile strike on the very center of the city. Unfortunately, there are dozens of injured, civil infrastructure, houses, and civilian cars are damaged," the video caption states.
It is noted that police officers were among the first to arrive at the scene and provided pre-medical aid to the injured, evacuated the victims, and ensured the unhindered passage of emergency services.
