Zelenskyy: Ukraine will never recognize the occupied territories of Ukraine as Russian

This was stated by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during a briefing following a meeting with the President of the European Council, António Costa.

«It is important to understand that we will never legally recognize any occupation of our territories by the Russian Federation. We do not recognize these lands as Russian; they are exclusively our lands, these are exclusively our people, temporarily occupied parts of Ukraine. Of course, all of this will return, and of course, we would very much like the return to happen primarily through diplomatic means to avoid such casualties», Zelenskyy stated.
