The situation on the frontline: The enemy is most active in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions

Since the beginning of the day on December 6, there have been 119 combat clashes at the front. The enemy is most active in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions.

This is stated in a  report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

In the Kharkiv direction, Russian terrorists stormed our units’ positions in the areas of Vovchansk, Tykhyi, and towards Vysoka Yaruha and Kozacha Lopan. Currently, two combat clashes are ongoing.

The enemy attacked our positions five times in the Kupyansk direction in the areas of Kolisnykivka, Lozova, Zahryzove, and Zapadne, and four combat clashes are ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy is trying to advance near Cherneshchyna, Hrekivka, Kopanky, Nadiya, Makiivka, Torske, and Terny. Since the beginning of the day, there have been 11 combat clashes in this direction, with two still ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers conducted five assault operations near Bila Hora and Stupochky, with battles ongoing in two locations.

In the Toretsk direction, the number of enemy attacks increased to four. The enemy is trying to attack near the settlements of Toretsk, Dyliivka, and Shcherbynivka. Our defenders repelled two attacks, and two combat clashes are still ongoing.

The enemy attacks Ukrainian defenders in the Pokrovsk direction. Throughout the day, the aggressor conducted 32 attacks in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zhovte, and Chumatske. The defense forces are holding the pressure and repelled 21 enemy attacks, with 11 combat clashes ongoing.

The situation is tense in the Kurakhove direction, where since the beginning of the day, the enemy has attacked our units 30 times, trying to advance near Stari Terny, Zorya, Sontsivka, Kurakhove, Dachne, and Dalnye. Battles are ongoing in 11 locations.

In the Vremiivka direction, our troops repelled seven attacks in the areas of Uspenivka, Kostyantynopil, Uspenivka, Rozdolne, Novodarivka, and Novosilka. Five combat clashes are still ongoing.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled an enemy assault towards Novodanylivka.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, one attack by the invaders was unsuccessful.

In the Kursk region, since the beginning of the day, the invader has made 13 offensive actions, with battles ongoing.

No significant changes have been recorded in other directions on the front.
