NRC: Russian military in the occupied Kherson region are fleeing from the front more frequently
In the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region, there is an increase in cases of desertion among Russian military personnel. To prevent this, the command is using blocking detachments.
This is reported by the National Resistance Center.
According to the information, the main reasons for escapes and cases of self-mutilation among soldiers are their unwillingness to die for the ambitions of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
Additional units of the Russian Guard have been sent to the region to apprehend deserters, performing the functions of blocking detachments.
"The Russian command places military personnel along the banks of the Dnieper River in empty houses of Ukrainian citizens and in seized dormitories. For this purpose, the occupation administration is taking an inventory of buildings suitable for settlement," the report states.
