The Cabinet of Ministers appointed Ruslan Kravchenko as the head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine

This became known from the Telegram post by the government representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk.

"Ruslan Kravchenko has been appointed as the head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine," noted Melnychuk.

Ruslan Kravchenko was born in 1990 in the city of Syevyerodonetsk (from September 2024 - Siverskodonetsk) in the Luhansk region. In 2007, he completed his studies at the Ivan Bohun Kyiv Military Lyceum, and in 2012 he graduated from the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University with a specialization in law, earning the rank of "lieutenant of justice". He is married.

From 2012 to 2014, he worked as an investigator and senior investigator of the Sevastopol Prosecutor’s Office, as well as a senior prosecutor in the Prosecutor’s Offices of Rivne and Lviv regions.

He participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO), performing duties as a prosecutor of the 33rd Military Prosecutor’s Office of the Southern Region of Ukraine (in Debaltseve and Bakhmut). He has the status of a combat participant and was discharged from military service to the reserve in 2020.

From 2015 to 2019, he worked in the Main Military Prosecutor’s Office of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine. Later, he worked for a year as the Deputy Military Prosecutor of the Central Region of Ukraine.

Kravchenko also held the position of head of the procedural guidance department in criminal cases related to crimes in the defence and industrial complex of the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office in the military and defence sectors of the Office of the Prosecutor General.

In 2021, he headed the Bucha District Prosecutor’s Office of Kyiv Region. He remained in this position until 2023, during which he also participated in the competition for the position of head of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).
