The invaders are attempting to cross the Oskil, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine are successfully thwarting their attempts to overcome the river

Russian occupiers are attempting to cross the Oskil River in the western part of the Kharkiv region. Ukrainian military are not allowing them to do so.

This was reported by Andriy Rubtsov, an officer of the 116th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to him, the Russians are using inflatable boats to transfer soldiers in order to establish themselves on the other bank of the river.

"Considering that our UAV operators are actively working, these attempts remain unsuccessful," Rubtsov noted.

The officer added that Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance detects Russian attempts to cross the river, and strike drone operators carry out attacks on the Russian landing troops.

According to the interactive map by the DeepState analytical project, the Russians allegedly control part of the positions on the right bank of the Oskil River.
