Zelenskyy announced planned meetings and negotiations regarding the strengthening of air defence

Soon, Ukrainian representatives will hold a series of meetings with international partners. This is necessary to strengthen the country’s air defence.

This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during an evening address.

Zelenskyy emphasized that in just the first three days of the new year, the Russian army used over 300 combat drones and about 20 missiles, including ballistic ones, against Ukrainian cities and villages.

"Such Russian terror, which does not lose its intensity, requires us and all partners to maintain activity in strengthening our air shield, all its systemic elements — from Patriot to mobile fire groups," Zelenskyy noted.

He stressed that Ukraine must continuously replenish its stock of air defence missiles and also increase the capabilities of mobile fire groups.

"I am grateful to all partners who support us. We are preparing for meetings and negotiations next week to enhance our air defence. The schedule of the corresponding work has already been preliminarily agreed," the president said.
