Strike by the Russian Federation on an apartment building in the Sumy region: the number of injured doubled

Russian military dropped a bomb on a multi-storey residential building in Sumy region. It is known that 10 people were injured.

This is reported with reference to SES of Ukraine.

Rescuers noted that as a result of the Russian strike in the village of Svesa in the Shostka district, a five-storey residential building was damaged. So far, SES workers have managed to evacuate 14 people and rescue an elderly woman.

"The enemy strike on the residential sector was carried out by Russians today in the second half of the day. As a result of the attack, the stairway from the fifth to the first floors of a five-storey residential building was destroyed. In total, 4 apartment buildings were damaged," the SES reported.

According to preliminary data, 10 people were injured, including 2 children. Rescuers continue to carry out emergency restoration and search operations. There are 2 stationary resilience centers of local authorities operating at the scene.
