In the Sumy region, rescue operations have been completed following a Russian airstrike on a multi-story building

This is reported with reference to the State Emergency Service (SES).

Rescuers reported the completion of emergency rescue and other urgent operations at the strike site in the settlement of the Shostka district.

"Canine units of the SES were also involved in the search operations. No people were found under the rubble," the rescuers informed.

Thus, the final data on the injured remains as follows: 10 people were injured as a result of the enemy airstrike, including two children.

Other consequences of the bombing strike

The rescuers reported that as a result of the Russian attack, 15 apartments in a five-story residential building were destroyed, as well as 1 private house.

"The blast wave damaged around 900 windows in four five-story residential buildings and seven private residential houses," the Service reported.

In total, 46 rescuers and 12 pieces of SES equipment worked at the scene, the rescuers added.
