New details have emerged about the SSU special operation at the Ust-Luga terminal in Russia
The attack on the commercial port of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad region, which is one of the largest in the Russian Federation, was carried out by the Security Service of Ukraine. As a result of a successful hit, the containers with gas condensate were damaged, leading to disruptions in the terminal’s operations.
This was reported by sources in the SSU. According to their information, on January 4, long-range drones of the Ukrainian special service covered over 900 kilometers, reaching near Saint Petersburg and successfully hitting the target.
In one of the videos, a drone can be seen hitting the containers with gas condensate.
As a result of the strike, one container suffered significant damage, and three neighboring ones were damaged by explosion debris.

Experts say that repairs will take at least a month if materials are available, and will definitely lead to disruptions in the terminal’s operations.
According to the source, the Ust-Luga terminal is a major logistics hub in the Baltic Sea. The aggressor country, Russia, sells oil and gas through it using a shadow fleet.
"Drone sanctions from the SSU reduce the inflow of currency needed by Russia to wage war. The ’cotton’ season-2025 is officially open!" said the SSU interlocutor.
