"Nationalization" instead of restoration: Occupiers in Rubizhne are massively "seizing" apartments

Although the demonstrative restoration has been suspended due to a lack of funding, the so-called «nationalization» of housing continues in Rubizhne (the occupied part of Luhansk region). The occupiers have published a new list of addresses where they plan to «seize» the apartments of local residents.

This was reported by the head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration, Oleksiy Kharchenko.

«The scheme remains the same — if the owner is absent for more than 30 days, their property will be appropriated by the Russians», — Kharchenko explains.

According to him, the invaders have realized that the residents of Rubizhne will not return, as critically important infrastructure and multi-apartment buildings are not being restored, so they aim to «nationalize» as much preserved housing as possible.
