«Practically all of Kurakhove is under occupation»: military public DeepState reports that Russians have started redeploying forces freed up in Kurakhove to Myrnohrad.

DeepState notes that «by the end of the day on January 6, some observation points remained within the city of Kurakhove and in the area of the TPP, but overall this no longer significantly affects control over the city».

«Practically all of Kurakhove is occupied by the enemy, and holding it with the forces of a few observation posts is considered purely a political task. The city has become a place for deploying and concentrating personnel for further enemy actions towards Dachne and to the south», the report says.

According to DS, the Russians are already «redeploying some units to another area near Myrnohrad, where an increase in the number of enemy attacks is expected».

The public notes that control over the city gives the Russian army «many advantages for developing offensive actions to the west».

«The rapid loss of the central part has had an extremely negative impact on the morale of the unit located there, and statements by spokespersons about «control over the city» further demoralize them.
