Enemy losses: The Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 1,660 occupiers and nearly 20 artillery systems

The total losses among Russian troops in Ukraine from February 24, 2022, to January 8, 2024, amount to approximately 801,670 personnel, of which 1,660 were lost in the past day.

This was stated in the announcement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

Also, as of January 8, Ukrainian defenders have destroyed 9,714 (+4) enemy tanks, 20,205 (+16) armored fighting vehicles, 21,729 (+19) artillery systems, 1,260 (+0) multiple launch rocket systems, 1,038 (+0) air defence systems, 369 (+0) aircraft, 331 (+0) helicopters, 21,727 (+19) operational-tactical UAVs, 3,014 (+0) cruise missiles, 28 (+0) ships/boats, 1 (+0) submarine, 33,307 (+81) vehicles and fuel tanks, and 3,681 (+0) units of special equipment of Russian forces.
