In the Russian city of Nizhnekamsk, an oil refinery is on fire

According to the channel Baza, preliminary data suggests that one of the columns is currently on fire. An air raid alert has also been declared. According to eyewitnesses, employees are currently being evacuated from the territory of the refinery. There are no official details about the fire yet.

Meanwhile, a drone attack threat has been announced in Tatarstan. Local residents received relevant notifications from the Ministry of Emergency Situations. People are urged to stay at home and not approach windows.

"A ’Carpet’ plan has been implemented at Nizhnekamsk airport, preliminarily due to the threat of a UAV attack," adds Baza.

It is worth noting that in 2022, the "Taneco" refinery rose to fifth place in the ranking of the largest oil refining enterprises in Russia.
