A resolution on the dismissal of the Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Herman Halushchenko, was registered in the Verkhovna Rada.

Resolution No. 12403 was registered today, January 13th.

The authors of the resolution are several members of parliament, including Inna Sovsun, Yaroslav Zheleznyak, Sofiya Fedyna, and others.

The document’s status indicates that it has been submitted for consideration by the leadership.

It is worth noting that three days ago, the Deputy Head of the Tax Committee of the Verkhovna Rada, Yaroslav Zheleznyak, reported that a member of the Energy Committee of the Verkhovna Rada, Inna Sovsun, along with members of parliament from different factions, is initiating the registration of a resolution to dismiss the Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Herman Halushchenko.

"My colleague and member of the Energy Committee, Inna Sovsun, together with members of parliament from different factions, is initiating the registration of a resolution to dismiss the Minister of Energy," – he wrote on Telegram.

Among the reasons, the MP cited "systemic corruption in the energy sector, failed work on protecting parts of the energy infrastructure, lies, and manipulations."
