In the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a statement was made regarding transfers to the infantry

The transfer of engineering and aviation service specialists to units of other branches and arms of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, I officially announce — such transfers will not take place, - acting commander of the Air Force Kryvonozhko.

This also applies to other scarce specialties within the Air Force. Similarly, there is no transfer of personnel trained abroad on Western missile defence systems, trained soldiers from mobile fire teams, and other highly specialized professionals who are objectively difficult to replace.

The situation on the front indeed requires complex decisions from the higher military leadership, including the transfer of Air Force servicemen to units of other branches and arms of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Additionally, according to the decisions made, the Air Force is gradually transferring a determined number of personnel to ground units to strengthen brigades on the front line. However, this will not affect scarce specialties and specialists involved in combat aviation missions.
