Volodymyr Zelenskyy published a new video of the interrogation of a captured DPRK soldier

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy published a video conversation with a captured North Korean soldier. He was recently taken prisoner during combat operations by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the video, the North Korean is asked when he was captured by the Ukrainian military. He replies that he doesn’t remember. According to him, he only remembers the battle, after which he was left behind by his comrades, and he spent several days alone.

«I was wounded, and after the battle, there was a retreat. Since I was wounded, I couldn’t move. And for about 3-5 days, I remained alone. Then Ukrainian troops found me,» he says.

According to the captive, he was issued documents in Russia, but without his name or photograph. He also said that in Russia they were trained on how to deal with Ukrainian prisoners.

The President noted that facts are currently being clarified and information about the prisoner is being verified.

«The world will learn the full truth about how Russia uses such young people who have grown up in a complete information vacuum and know nothing about Ukraine to continue this war. Only Russia needs this war. I thank our warriors who defend Ukrainian positions and everyone in the world who helps preserve the lives of our people and our independence,» said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
