Our goal is to produce a record number, - Zelenskyy on drone production
Ukraine, together with the United Kingdom, seeks to increase production volumes in certain military sectors.
This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a meeting with a delegation led by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer in Kyiv. During the meeting, they were introduced to examples of Ukrainian drone bombers and reconnaissance UAVs.

"I think we will achieve significant results this year. We will increase production in collaboration with our partners from the United Kingdom, primarily with our partners from the United Kingdom. We want to increase production in certain areas, to double it. Our goal is to produce a record number of drones. I think this will be very useful and will greatly help us," said Zelenskyy.

The head of the Ukrainian state expressed hope that this year will be successful for Ukraine. He also thanked for the signing of the 100-year Partnership Agreement between the countries.

In turn, the UK Prime Minister assured of support for Ukraine. This includes providing capabilities "that will prove useful on the front line, save Ukrainian lives, and enhance the ability to resist aggression." The politician also emphasized Ukraine’s progress in the defence industry sector.
During his visit to Kyiv, Starmer familiarized himself with samples of Ukrainian weapons currently used at the front. In particular, they examined drone bombers and reconnaissance UAVs. British technologies are used in some models.

The event was attended by the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, Deputy Head of the Office of the President Ihor Zhovkva, Strategic Advisor Oleksandr Kamyshin, and Minister for Strategic Industries Herman Smetanin.
