On the Kurakhove direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine stormed a Russian position: captured the occupiers

Fighters of the 79th Separate Air Assault Brigade of the AFU attacked the positions of Russian invaders in the Kurakhove direction. Our military not only captured the territory but also took seven invaders prisoner.

This was reported on the official Telegram channel of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It was noted that at first, Ukrainian servicemen conducted a prolonged drone attack, forcing the Russians to hide in a bunker.

After that, the assault group of the 79th Air Assault Brigade was deployed, with the task of stealthily approaching the invaders’ "hole".

"As planned, the enemy bunker became their own trap. The blocked invaders had no choice: either die from the paratroopers’ fire or surrender. After a short hesitation, they chose the latter," says the message.

The military emphasized that despite the hatred and contempt for the enemy who came to our land with weapons, the assault troops of the 79th Brigade acted nobly: they escorted the prisoners to the rear and provided medical assistance to those in need.

Thus, Ukrainian warriors have replenished the exchange fund, which is very important for returning our captured defenders home.
