Russians have infiltrated Velyka Novosilka, and battles for the strategically important settlement have begun.

This was reported by a Ukrainian serviceman with the call sign "Muchnyi".

Russian military public sources also write about the penetration of the Russian Federation into this settlement.

"The battles for the settlement have begun, the enemy is actively exerting pressure through the destroyed bridge and has already reached the outer streets. The enemy is trying to have a psychological impact, forcing some to surrender. Some indeed surrender," reported "Muchnyi".

He believes that the Ukrainian Armed Forces should "cautiously retreat from Velyka Novosilka, as the enemy will start using all available means. They are in fact already doing so — from airstrikes to Grad shelling, as was the case in Vuhledar."
