Syrskyi on the defence of Pokrovsk: the enemy suffers much greater losses than we do
The enemy has concentrated its best units to storm Pokrovsk, but without result. The losses of Russian troops in this direction still greatly exceed those of the Ukrainian forces.
This was reported with reference to the statement of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi in an interview with the telethon.
"The enemy is putting all efforts into capturing the city. And we are doing everything to prevent its capture. Some ’prophets’ said that we would lose Pokrovsk back on September 30. September 30 has passed, and then they claimed we would lose it by October 30," Syrskyi noted.
He pointed out that the occupiers are concentrating their best units and parts in this direction.
"He has the opportunity to change them because he has a greater potential for offensive actions. For now," he emphasized.
At the same time, according to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy’s losses "greatly" exceed the losses of the Ukrainian army in this direction.
