The occupiers shelled Pokrovsk and Kostyantynivka: there is one dead and four injured

On Sunday, January 26, Russian invaders shelled Pokrovsk and Kostyantynivka in the Donetsk region. As a result of the attack, one person was killed and four others were injured.

This was reported by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.

According to his information, Russians killed a woman in the center of Pokrovsk. In Kostyantynivka, the invaders injured four people aged between 48 and 70 years. Additionally, several apartment buildings and private houses were damaged.

The Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office clarified that the Russians dropped three “FAB-250” aerial bombs with UMPK modules on the residential area of Kostyantynivka at 3:30 PM on January 26.

As a result of the attack, three men aged 48, 64, and 70 years, and a 50-year-old woman were injured. They have been diagnosed with traumatic brain injuries, shrapnel wounds, and bruises. One of the wounded individuals is in serious condition, according to medical professionals.

“In the settlement, apartment buildings, private houses, a garage, a vehicle, and the power network were damaged,” law enforcement officials reported.

Prosecutors have commenced a pre-trial investigation into the war crime (part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Vadym Filashkin reported that over the past day, Russians shelled settlements in the Donetsk region 11 times. Thirty-six people, including seven children, were evacuated from the frontline. The official urged residents of the region to evacuate, as the enemy targets civilians daily.
