NGU fighters raised the flag of Ukraine behind Russian lines

The Kozaks of the "Chervona Kalyna (Red Viburnum)" brigade raised the blue-and-yellow flag in the territory of Donetsk region controlled by the enemy.

Ukrainian national guards secured the Ukrainian flag in the occupied part of the Donetsk region behind enemy lines. With this, the defenders showed the aggressor that its presence on our land is temporary.

This was noted on January 30 by the operational-strategic group of troops "Khortytsia".

The operational-strategic group of troops "Khortytsia" (OSTG "Khortytsia") stated that the fighters of the "Chervona Kalyna" brigade used a drone to hang the Ukrainian flag on a tower that is under the control of the occupiers.

"This brave act of the national guards emphasizes to the occupiers that their presence in this territory is temporary. And this act carries more than symbolic significance. It is proof that every square meter of our land will be returned, and the Ukrainian flag will fly over every city that was occupied," the military emphasized.

The specific location where the flag appeared — in which settlement, was not disclosed by the military OSTG "Khortytsia".

However, they noted that now the Ukrainian flag stands out brightly in the Donetsk region, reminding that "the land, freedom, and victory belong to us!".

"Loyalty to the cause, inventiveness, and resilience help our heroes achieve victory even under the most difficult circumstances. Remember the cost of our freedom!" the military concluded in the message.
