Children were allegedly not allowed into the shelter of NAU: the situation clarified by the police
In Kyiv on Saturday, February 1, a conflict occurred, allegedly because during a massive attack by the Russian Federation children were not allowed into the shelter at the National Aviation University. The capital’s police have already responded to the reports and clarified the situation.
The video recording was posted on social media. All participants of the incident have been identified and questioned.
"In NAU, where dance competitions are supposed to take place, children are not allowed into the shelter because ’no command was given,’ the message stated.
In the published video, a woman says that security service employees are not letting anyone into the civil protection premises or to the restroom, despite an air raid alert being announced in the city.

One of the guards, responding to the woman’s question, stated that there is "higher management that sets tasks... They will give the command – we’ll let them in."
For its part, the press service of the capital’s police told journalists that law enforcement checked the information regarding the situation in the published video.
"It was found that the shelter at the educational institution was located on the other side of the building, and the entrance to it was open. They were not being denied entry to the shelter, but specifically to the dance stage premises, where events for children were to take place, due to the air raid signal and the absence of tickets for the citizen, which were later provided to her by the event organizer. The conflict was resolved on the spot," added the press service.
