The Russian Federation struck an orphanage in Sudzha: 95 people trapped under the rubble
Russian troops struck a boarding school in the city of Sudzha, Kursk region, Russia, which is under Ukrainian control, on February 1, resulting in 95 people being trapped under the rubble.
This was reported by the press officer of the temporary military commandant’s office in the territory of the Russian Federation, Oleksiy Dmytrashkivskyi, in a video address on Facebook.
"On February 1, 2025, at 17:54, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation struck the boarding school in the city of Sudzha. 95 people were trapped under the rubble.
Moans and cries of people can be heard from under the rubble. Let me remind you that most of them are elderly and bedridden people.
The military commandant’s forces are currently conducting search and rescue operations."
On the evening of January 11, Russian troops launched airstrikes near the boarding school in the city of Sudzha, where elderly people were present. As a result of the strike, one woman died.
