Lured to the military enlistment office: a university lecturer was mobilized in Kamyanets-Podilskyi
In Kamyanets-Podilskyi, a university lecturer was mobilized by being deceitfully summoned to the military enlistment office.
This was reported by MP Heorgiy Mazurashu.
According to him, the legislation contradicts the conscription into the army of employees of educational institutions who work at a designated rate.
"Just a few days ago in Kamyanets-Podilskyi, mobilizers took a teacher near the dormitory who works there at more than two rates at the university. Deceptively. They saw his employment documents. They told him to come to the Territorial Center of Recruitment, allegedly to receive a paper from the center. Not only is it stated in the law that such people are prohibited from being mobilized. They deceitfully brought him to the recruitment center in Kamyanets-Podilskyi and deceitfully forced him to sign. They sent him to the Military Medical Commission, which he completed in 5-7 minutes. And already the next day, they sent him off, despite the fact that he is not subject to military service under mobilization," the MP said.
Mazurashu stated that he is preparing an appeal to cancel the illegal decision.
"And usually in these cases, the military respond: ’Sorry, we can violate the law during mobilization, but we have no grounds to return this person,’" Mazurashu stated.
