Ukraine will need at least one billion cubic meters of gas by the end of the year, - Halushchenko

According to the minister, gas will be needed both for getting through the winter and for preparing for the next heating season.

He noted that Russian shelling had a significant impact on domestic gas production, and although the exact volumes of imports will depend on the outcomes of the current season, Ukraine will need to import at least 1 billion cubic meters of gas by the end of the year.
