Two Georgian soldiers were killed in the war against Russia
Two Georgian soldiers who fought on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were killed in the war against Russia.
This was reported on Facebook by Lieutenant Colonel Vano Nadiradze, head of the Georgian group of the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine.
Nadiradze reported that on February 5, two Georgians – David Dvalishvili and Mamuka Beriy – were killed in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
"The guys did everything possible last night to evacuate them from the front line," he noted.
Since February 2022, up to 80 Georgian soldiers – citizens of Georgia and natives of Georgia who hold Ukrainian citizenship – have been killed on the front line in Ukraine.
