Zelenskyy confirmed his readiness for talks with Putin

The Head of the Ukrainian state stated this during a meeting with media representatives together with EBRD President Odile Renaud-Basso.

«We will work with partners to have a common understanding and vision for ending the war. Even if Russia doesn’t like something, we need a common vision among partners, and then we are ready for diplomacy. Of course, the United States of America, President Trump, and the European Union countries believe that diplomacy is impossible without Russia, without Putin, so I said: I am ready. If we have an understanding of how this war will end, we are ready for diplomacy. I have no problem with that», - emphasized Zelenskyy.

Answering the question of whether he will cancel the decree that makes negotiations with Putin impossible, the President noted that «this is the narrative of the Russian Federation».

«They will constantly seek opportunities not to meet», - Zelenskyy noted, adding that Putin is afraid to talk to him about ending the war in general.

«But still, I think that Trump can make him end the war», - emphasized the President.
