In Kyiv and the region, air defence is shooting down enemy drones

In the evening of February 6, Russian forces launched strike drones, and air defence operations were reported in the Kyiv region.

This information was reported by the Kyiv Regional State Administration

"Kyiv Region! Enemy UAVs have been detected! Air defence forces are operating in the region. Do not photograph or film our defenders’ operations. Do not neglect safety rules. Stay in shelters until the air raid alert is over."

Later, at 21:54, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv.

Updated: Around 23:00, explosions were heard in Kyiv, and the KCSA reported that air defense was active in the capital. Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klychko reported that air defense was operating on the left bank of the city.
