The situation at the front: Defence forces halted 40 assaults in the Pokrovsk direction

This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in operational information as of 22.00 on 10.02.2025 on Facebook.

«A total of 127 combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of this day. Russian invaders launched two missile and 77 air strikes, used two missiles, and dropped 101 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, they deployed over a thousand kamikaze drones and conducted approximately five thousand shellings on our troops’ positions and settlements», the publication states.

According to the General Staff, in the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attempted to storm our units’ positions four times in the Vovchansk area.

In the Kupyansk direction, the aggressor carried out offensive actions in the areas of Kindrashivka, Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka, and Zahryzove, where Ukrainian defenders stopped eight enemy attacks, with one battle still ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, Russian invaders attacked the Defense Forces’ positions 12 times near the settlements of Kopanky, Novoyehorivka, Novolyubivka, Yampilivka, Terny, and Kolodyazi.

In the Siversk direction, our defenders repelled five assaults by occupation forces near Bilohorivka, Verkhnokamyanske, Serebrianka, and Hryhorivka, with two battles still ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy stormed our defenders’ positions near Vasyukivka, Bila Hora, and Chasiv Yar. The Defence Forces repelled five invader attacks, and currently, battles are taking place in three locations.

Eleven times, Russians stormed the positions of Ukrainian units in the Toretsk direction in the areas of Toretsk and Shcherbinivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of this day, the enemy attacked in the areas of the settlements of Baranivka, Vodiane Druhe, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Zvirove, Udachne, Uspenivka, Nadiivka, Andriivka, and Dachne. Our defenders stopped 40 enemy assault actions, and seven battles are still ongoing. Sukhyi Yar, Pokrovsk, and Bahatyr were hit by airstrikes.

Today in this direction, according to preliminary data, 285 occupiers were neutralized, of which 130 were irreversibly. Ukrainian warriors destroyed one tank, two BMPs, two armored fighting vehicles, one MLRS, an artillery system, ten units of automotive equipment, five motorcycles, and 11 drones of the occupiers; they also damaged three BMPs, two units of automotive equipment, four tanks, four armored fighting vehicles, two artillery systems, and one MLRS.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy attempted 12 times to break through our defenders’ defense in the areas of the settlements of Zelenivka, Vremivka, and Novosilka. Currently, one battle is taking place. The occupiers struck KABs in the settlements of Kostyantynopil, Shevchenko, and Dniproenerhiya.

In the Orikhiv direction, enemy aviation hit Tavriiske, dropping 13 GABs.

In the Kursk direction, since the beginning of the day, 27 combat engagements have occurred, two of which are still ongoing, and the invading army launched 37 air strikes, dropping 49 GABs and conducting 378 shellings.
