The Ministry of Defence has begun offering contracts to eighteen-year-olds

Conditions of enlistment for youth aged 18 to 24:

– contract for 1 million – 200 thousand UAH is paid immediately upon signing the contract, and 800 thousand UAH is paid in two parts over the term of the contract;

– additional payments up to 120 thousand UAH per month + bonuses for completing combat missions;

– ability to independently choose a unit, specialty, and location for undergoing the military medical commission (MMC);

– housing compensation during the period of service;

– medical support, including dentistry and dental prosthetics;

– mortgage at 0.0% annual interest after completing the contract (program "eOselya");

– education in educational institutions within quotas funded by the state after completing the contract;

– right to travel abroad after one year of service. Exemption from the draft for one year after completing the contract;

– mandatory intensive training for three months after signing the contract.
