Kellogg: Within 180 days, I will engage all parties for peace in Ukraine

Trump’s special representative, Keith Kellogg, stated that over the next 180 days, he will engage all parties to achieve peace in Ukraine.

The Trump special representative announced this during a speech at the Munich Conference.

Kellogg believes that the war in Ukraine can end in less than a year.

«I publicly announce 180 days, starting the countdown, for all parties to participate, so we can implement this in a way that makes it stable, long-lasting, ensures Ukraine’s sovereignty, and when this ends, it will never start again», the diplomat noted.

He emphasized that the United States is not going to exclude anyone from the negotiation process: neither Ukraine nor Russia, nor the European allies.

The special representative stressed that Europe will not be physically present at the negotiation table between the Russian Federation and Ukraine, but its interests will be taken into account.

Kellogg reminded that he will visit Ukraine next week, and then the Trump administration will consider how the allies envision peace, and how Ukraine does.

He added that he is responsible for the White House’s cooperation with the Ukrainian side, while Middle East envoy Steven Witkoff is responsible for the Russian side.
