The occupiers are trying to encircle Ukrainian defenders in the south of the Donetsk region, - AFU

Russian troops are attempting to encircle the Ukrainian Armed Forces who have found themselves in a "pocket" near Dachne and Ulakly in the south of the Donetsk region.

This was reported by Senior Officer of the 37th Marine Brigade Communication Department, Denys Bobkov, on-air at Kyiv24.

"The enemy is trying to encircle the units located in this ’pocket’. The command of the brigade operational-tactical group ’Vuhledar’ is making changes to actions, decisions are being made to eliminate the enemy from these settlements. So far, we are succeeding. The enemy has not established themselves with large groups there. Thus, the chance to push them out of these settlements is quite high," Bobkov noted.

He also reported that Russian troops are attempting to attack with infantry groups supported by armored vehicles.
