The Coordination Headquarters: Ukraine has recovered 7017 bodies of fallen soldiers

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Ukraine has conducted 75 repatriations and brought home 7,017 bodies of fallen defenders.

This was reported by the press service of the Coordination Headquarters on the Treatment of Prisoners of War in a comment to "Ukrainska Pravda".

"As of December 2024, we have conducted 73 repatriations and returned 5,503 bodies of the fallen. This year, two more repatriations took place – in January and February. In each case, 757 bodies were returned. Thus, to date, Ukraine has returned 7,017 bodies of its fallen warriors."

The Coordination Headquarters added that they have also conducted 61 prisoner exchanges, through which 4,131 citizens have been brought home. This number includes both military and civilians.
