The AFU destroyed for the first time a Russian BAT-2 path-layer, - OSTG "Khortytsia"

On the Lyman front, Ukrainian forces destroyed a Russian BAT-2 pathlayer for the first time.

This was reported by Operational Strategic Command "Khortytsia" on February 21.

"In recent days, FPV drone operators have managed to destroy a significant amount of enemy equipment: MTLB, two trucks, a cannon, a ’loaf’ vehicle, a motorcycle, and for the first time – a BAT-2 pathlayer," the report states.

It is worth noting that the BAT-2 is a Soviet pathlayer based on the MT-T tractor, developed by the Kharkiv Design Bureau of Mechanical Engineering and produced in small series.

The military also added that Russian occupiers continue their attempts to breach the defence of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In particular, Russian forces continue to assault the fortifications of Ukrainian defenders with infantry and armored vehicles. However, Ukrainian UAVs are effectively destroying the armament and armored vehicles of the Russian army.
