Ukraine’s state debt exceeded 7 trillion hryvnias, — Ministry of Finance

This was reported by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.

It is noted that as of January 31, 2025, the state and state-guaranteed debt of Ukraine amounted to 7,068.00 billion UAH, or 168.99 billion USD. During January 2025, the amount of state and state-guaranteed debt of Ukraine increased by 87.03 billion UAH in equivalent UAH, while in dollar equivalent, the state and state-guaranteed debt increased by 2.93 billion USD.

In particular, the state and state-guaranteed external debt amounted to 5,141.34 billion UAH (72.74% of the total amount), or 122.93 billion USD; the state and state-guaranteed internal debt amounted to 1,926.66 billion UAH (27.26%), or 46.07 billion USD.

The state debt of Ukraine amounted to 6,778.92 billion UAH (95.91% of the total state and state-guaranteed debt), or 162.08 billion USD.
