Ukraine already produces a third of the necessary weapons, - Shmyhal

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced that Ukraine has built a new defence-industrial complex, the capabilities of which have increased 35 times.

Shmyhal stated this during a press conference.

"Up to 35 billion dollars per year. This is a significant achievement. In two years, artillery production has tripled, armored personnel carriers have increased fivefold, anti-tank weapons have doubled, and ammunition has increased by 2.5 times. Currently, we produce about a third of the weapons we need. Our goal is 50 percent, at least," Shmyhal reported.
