Zelenskyy instructed Umyerov and intelligence to deal with military assistance from the USA

He announced this during his evening address.

According to Zelenskyy, people should not be left guessing about the situation, and countries deserve respectful dialogue. He instructed the Minister of Defence, intelligence chiefs, and diplomats to contact their American counterparts to ascertain Washington’s future plans.

Zelenskyy acknowledged that Ukraine has repeatedly faced temporary delays in assistance, particularly humanitarian, energy, and military aid. He recalled that military support was already suspended at the beginning of the year, but it was quickly resumed. At the same time, he noted that the situation differs from 2022, as Ukraine now has a higher level of resilience and means of protection.

"Ukraine will always be grateful to America for all the support that has been provided and continues to be provided, which contributes to maintaining the very fragile foundations of security in Europe today. It’s not just about our country. It’s about everyone in Europe. We strive for constructive cooperation. Partner relationships," said Zelenskyy.

He expressed regret about the events in the White House that replaced the planned talks, but he called for seeking opportunities for further interaction.

"We always respect America, Europe, all partners, and together we do everything to bring peace closer," Zelenskyy concluded.
