In Ukraine, the electronic cabinet of the MMC has started functioning
An electronic cabinet for the Military Medical Commission (MMC) has been launched in Ukraine. Now, referrals to the military medical commission and its conclusions will be digital instead of paper-based.
From March 1, 2025, electronic decisions can be issued by military medical commissions that have received training. From April 1, this will become mandatory for all MMCs, announced the head of the Ministry of Defence Rustem Umyerov on his Facebook page.
"Previously, everything was handwritten. Now, we are transitioning to digital format," he noted. The minister expects that the process will become faster, simpler, and free from bureaucracy.
How it works:
– Referrals to the MMC from the Oberih registry automatically appear in the MMC cabinet;
– The commissions’ conclusions after examining conscripts automatically enter Oberih and are displayed more quickly in the "Reserve+" application;
– The decisions regarding servicemen are stored in the Medical Information System of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This project is the result of joint efforts by the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Health, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, supported by the Office for Effective Regulation (BRDO).
"Our goal is a transparent, quick, and convenient MMC system for everyone protecting Ukraine," concluded Umyerov.
