Waltz: Ukraine and Russia should start negotiations

Trump’s aide Mike Waltz stated that Ukraine and Russia should start negotiations.

"The parties are obliged to sit at the negotiation table," he noted during a briefing at the White House.

"We have an initial agreement with Russia. Ukraine is given a great opportunity to link our economies through a minerals deal. Although things did not go very well initially, we have every chance to turn the situation around," Waltz added.

According to him, in Saudi Arabia, Kyiv and Washington will discuss a resources deal and a ceasefire.
