Zelenskyy held a Staff meeting regarding the Russian shelling of Ukraine

"I held a meeting. There was a detailed discussion of today’s Russian strike and the work of our air defense. Usually, after massive attacks, we conduct such reviews to identify weak spots and also experiences that deserve to be shared," noted the president.

Zelenskyy reported that today he listened to all the necessary reports. According to him, during the meeting, special attention was paid to the effectiveness of the usage of Ukrainian air defense.

According to him, during today’s strike, the Russians used more than 260 air attack means, including cruise and ballistic missiles, as well as attack drones.

"Our military managed to respond to the strike with maximum professionalism. I want to thank each unit, all involved services, all our warriors. As always, the strike was repelled comprehensively," he emphasized.

Zelenskyy stated that during the repulsion of the attack, Ukrainian military used fighter aviation, including F-16s and French Mirages, which, according to him, performed very well.

"We used fighter aviation - F-16s and French Mirages, which performed very well today. Emmanuel (French President Macron. - Ed.), thank you!" added the president.

It should be noted that earlier today, aviation expert Kostyantyn Kryvolap stated that Russian military had changed their missile strike strategy on Ukraine.
